For all rescues and all the hard work you do; we see you we love you!
Our day started out with breaking down the whelping box and Leon power washed the kennel. I gave all 8 dogs a bath and dried their kennel. We placed a quilt in the kennel and they started playing. We rented an air-conditioned box van to get the dogs to VIP training facility. Our friends Tina and Mike jumped into help and we loaded up 12 large dogs and 13 pups. One large air conditioned box Van. We talked with the veterinarian about how the dogs were doing. The veterinarian spent the day pushing pulling on legs and joints checking them all for stability. Glad to say all the dogs are in great health despite all the things they have been through. The staff who vaccinated, held them and treated them for worms were amazing and loved on all the dogs.
We drove home and unloaded dogs. Fed them and off to return the box van. As leon went in to pay for the box van, I fell asleep in the car. We got home and our new friend; UC DAVIS nurse named Christina had pools delivered to the house for the pups. Between the pools, dog food and other items – it was just amazing to see. Moments later we were headed out to feed then in the house. Once again, I fell asleep. On the way home, we were able to talk to our good friend Kelly who runs “Good dog K9 rescue” them another message from Alex at CalPaws. Two fabulous rescues.
Thank you Tina and Mike from “Dusty Dog” dog grooming. You are amazing people and great friends! We love you both…..good night!
